Privacy Policy

This policy explains how RacingLineCoach (the “app”) and its related marketing and privacy pages handle information. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the developer of RacingLineCoach. For privacy questions, contact justintimeapps@gmail.com.

1. Information you use in the app

The app processes information you choose to import or enter so you can create and review coaching debriefs. This can include:

• Imported track or corner images and their original file information or embedded metadata.
• Track names, image names and order, student names, dates, session labels, car details, weather, and track direction or configuration.
• Racing lines, other drawings, blank canvases, and text notes.
• App preferences, such as appearance and the selected drawing color.

This content is stored in the app’s local files on your device. It is used to display and edit your debriefs, save your work, organize your library, and generate PDFs. We do not operate an app account system, an online debrief database, or an app cloud-sync service.

2. Image access and device permissions

RacingLineCoach uses your device’s image-selection tools to import the images you choose. Your operating system controls any photo-library permissions or access prompts. You can review or change these permissions in your device settings. The app does not request your location, contacts, microphone, or background location access.

Images and text you supply may themselves contain personal or location information. Choose content you have permission to use, particularly when recording information about a student or another person.

3. PDF exports and sharing

When you choose to share, the app creates a PDF containing the annotated images, notes, and session details selected by the app’s export workflow. Exported files may include a student name in the document and its title. Review the content before sending it.

The device’s share menu lets you select the recipient, destination, or other app. That service may transmit, retain, or otherwise process the PDF under its own privacy policy and your settings. Sharing is initiated by you; PDFs are not automatically sent to us. Temporary export files may remain in the app’s or operating system’s cache until removed.

Some exported PDFs include a link to the RacingLineCoach website. A printed link does not send debrief content to us. If someone opens that link, the website practices below apply.

4. Analytics, advertising, and tracking

RacingLineCoach does not include an advertising network, behavioral tracking, or a third-party analytics service. We do not sell or rent your personal information. The app does not automatically transmit its local debrief library to the developer.

Apple, Google, and your operating system may independently process store transactions, downloads, diagnostics, or crash information according to their policies and your settings. Those platform services are separate from the app’s local debrief storage.

5. Device backups and transfers

Depending on your device, operating system, and backup settings, app data may be included in a device backup or transfer. Any such copy is managed by the operating system or backup provider, not by a RacingLineCoach sync service. Manage those copies through your device or backup account settings.

6. Retention and deleting your data

Local content remains on your device until you remove it or the app’s data is cleared. In-app deletion removes the item from the active library or session. Original image files may be retained inside the app’s storage, including when they are used by another session; removing a view does not necessarily erase its underlying file immediately.

To remove the app’s stored files, use your device’s option to delete the app and its data or, where available, clear the app’s storage. On iOS, offloading the app may retain its documents; deleting the app and its data is different. Copies in device backups, your photo library, saved PDFs, messages, email, or recipients’ devices must be managed separately. We cannot remotely access or delete debriefs stored only on your device.

If you contact us, we retain the information you provide for as long as reasonably needed to respond, handle follow-up questions, maintain necessary records, or meet applicable requirements.

7. Website visits and support requests

The RacingLineCoach marketing and privacy pages are hosted on Bluehost. Our hosting provider may record ordinary technical request information, such as an IP address, requested page, browser details, referring page, and time of access, to deliver the site, maintain security, and troubleshoot problems. Hosting logs are handled under the provider’s settings and operational practices. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies to these RacingLineCoach pages.

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, and attachments. We use it to respond and assist you. Email is also processed by the email providers involved. Please avoid sending student details, private images, or sensitive information unless necessary for your request.

8. Security

The app relies on your device’s normal application-storage protections. Protect your device and backups with appropriate settings and be mindful of who receives exported PDFs. No device, storage method, or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Children’s privacy

RacingLineCoach is intended for driving instructors and students and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit children’s personal information through our online support channels. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or our practices change. The current policy will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Review it periodically for changes.
